Well, not quite.  But, although it’s only July, now is an excellent time to think about having Clayton & Associates prepare a tax projection for you.  Any of the following are good reasons to get a new tax projection:

• Your income has changed this year
• Your exemptions have increased or decreased from last year
• You have new deductions or they have changed from last year
• You are just not quite sure you have enough taxes being sent in

Now is the time to project forward to determine what your end-of-year tax consequences will be.  After the year has ended, it’s too late to put together any tax strategies to rectify the problems.  However, by looking at your situation now there is still 6 months to create a strategy and to fix your situation.
